Google Tag Manager Setup Services

Google Tag Manager setup services give your marketing team one controlled place to manage tracking without editing site code each time. We build the container, data layer and tags so GA4 and ad platforms receive the same accurate events.

Helping brands grow since 2013
Our approach

How we approach Google Tag Manager setup services

Messy containers are the norm. Tags added by three agencies, duplicate GA4 configs firing twice, conversion tags triggered on page load instead of on form success, and nobody sure what can be deleted. Hardcoded scripts in the theme sit alongside GTM tags for the same pixel. Consent is ignored, which causes legal risk and, with consent mode, missing data in Google Ads.

We audit what is already firing, both in GTM and in the site code, then design a data layer with your developer for key events like form submissions, purchases and sign-ups. Tags for GA4, Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn and others are built on those events, with naming conventions and folders. We test in preview and debug modes, publish with version notes and hand over a tracking sheet listing every tag, trigger and variable.

  • A measurement plan agreed before tracking is built
  • Privacy-friendly, consent-aware data collection
  • Dashboards designed for decisions, not decoration

FAQ

Questions we often hear

Straight answers to the things clients ask us most. If yours isn’t here, just ask.

Still have a question?Talk to a strategist. We usually reply within one working day.Ask us directly
Do I need a developer to set up Google Tag Manager?
A developer is needed once, to add the GTM snippet and push data layer events for things like purchases or form submissions. After that, most tag changes happen inside GTM without code releases. We write the data layer spec so your developer knows exactly what to add.
Can you fix our existing GTM container instead of starting again?
Usually yes. We audit the container, remove duplicate and broken tags, rename everything consistently and rebuild only what is wrong. Starting fresh makes sense only when the container is so tangled that cleaning it would take longer.
Do you work with GA4 and server-side tracking?
Yes, both. Server-side tracking is increasingly important for accuracy as browsers block more third-party scripts.
