Brand Positioning Services

Brand positioning services answer the question your sales team gets every day: why you and not the other option? We ground the answer in customer research and competitor reality, not in what sounds good in a boardroom.

Helping brands grow since 2013
Our approach

How we approach brand positioning services

Weak positioning shows up as long sales cycles, price-led negotiations and a website headline that could belong to anyone. Companies often position against what they think competitors do, or claim attributes like quality and service that every competitor also claims. Trying to appeal to everyone usually means nobody feels the brand is for them.

We interview recent customers, lost prospects and your sales team, and map competitor claims side by side. Then we work through the key choices: which customer segment you serve best, what they would use if you did not exist, which attributes make you different, and what proof supports that. The output is a positioning statement, a competitive map, the reasons to believe and clear implications for pricing, product and messaging. It becomes the brief for everything else, from identity to ad copy.

What is the difference between brand strategy and brand positioning?
Positioning is one part of brand strategy. It defines the specific place your brand holds in a customer's mind relative to alternatives. Brand strategy is broader and also covers purpose, architecture, personality, messaging and how the brand will be built over time.
When should a company revisit its positioning?
When you enter new markets, launch a significantly different product, face a new type of competitor, or notice sales cycles lengthening and discounts rising. Rapid growth that changes who your best customers are is another common trigger.
How long does a rebrand take?
A focused identity project usually takes six to ten weeks. A full rebrand with naming, messaging and rollout takes longer. We agree the milestones up front.
