Business Problem Solutions

Fix Data Silos

If finance, sales and marketing each bring a different revenue number to the meeting, you need to fix data silos, both technically and in how terms are defined. We integrate CRM, ERP, marketing and support tools, build a central data layer and agree shared metrics.

The problem

Why “fix data silos” rarely happens with one channel

Data silos grow naturally. Marketing has ad platforms and GA4, sales has the CRM, finance has Tally or an ERP, support has a helpdesk. Each team exports to spreadsheets, customer IDs do not match, and nobody can answer simple questions like which campaign brought our most profitable customers.

We start by mapping systems, data owners and the questions leadership cannot answer today. Then we choose the approach: direct integrations between key tools, or a central warehouse such as BigQuery or Snowflake fed by connectors like Fivetran or Airbyte. We clean and match records, define metrics in one place, and build dashboards on top. Data ownership and update routines are documented so silos do not reappear.

Smaller businesses may only need a few integrations rather than a warehouse. We size the solution to the problem.

FAQ

Questions we often hear

Straight answers to the things clients ask us most. If yours isn’t here, just ask.

What causes data silos in a company?
Teams buying their own tools, systems that do not integrate, different definitions of the same metric and no shared customer ID. Growth adds more tools faster than anyone connects them. Fixing it needs both technical integration and agreement on ownership.
Do we need a data warehouse to fix data silos?
Not always. A few direct integrations between CRM, ERP and marketing tools may solve the main problem. A warehouse makes sense when you have many sources, large data volumes or complex reporting needs. We recommend based on your questions and budget.
How quickly can you help us fix data silos?
Quick wins usually go live in the first month, and the bigger structural changes land over the following two. You see the plan and milestones before we start.
Do we need all the services in the bundle?
Not always. The diagnosis tells us which ones matter for you. Some clients start with two, others with the full bundle.
Can you work with our in-house team?
Yes. We often lead strategy and specialist execution while your team owns brand, approvals and day-to-day channels.
