Free Email Campaign Planner

This email campaign planner gives every send a clear audience, goal and date before anyone writes a subject line. It also lists your automated flows, so campaigns and automations do not hit the same people on the same day.

Why use a email campaign planner

The planner has three tabs. The campaign calendar lists each send with segment, goal, offer, subject line options, send date, owner and status. The flows register lists automated sequences such as welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase and nurture, with their triggers and exclusions. The results tab records delivered, clicks, conversions and revenue or pipeline for each send, so you can see patterns over a quarter.

Plan campaigns around your commercial calendar: launches, sales, seasonal peaks and quiet periods. Check the flows register before each campaign to avoid overlapping sends. Test one element at a time and record what you learn, which is how email programmes improve steadily.

Use it with the email marketing guide if you are setting up automations for the first time.

FAQ

Questions we often hear

Straight answers to the things clients ask us most. If yours isn’t here, just ask.

What should an email campaign plan include?
The audience segment, the goal, the offer or message, subject line options, send date and time, who owns it and how success will be measured. Recording results against the plan is what makes the next campaign better.
How do I avoid sending too many emails to the same people?
Keep a register of automated flows alongside campaigns, use exclusion rules for people recently in a flow and set a frequency cap per contact. Watching unsubscribes by segment shows when you are close to the limit.
